Anne Berry

Born in London, Anne Berry spent her childhood in Aden and Hong Kong where she was educated. For a short period, she worked as a journalist for the South China Morning Post before returning to the UK. Her first novel, The Hungry Ghosts, was shortlisted for The Commonwealth Writers’ Prize and the Desmond Elliot Prize. Anne Berry lives in Surrey.

The Adoption is Anne’s third novel, written from the dramatically different perspectives of three women.
