Shane Heldsinger

Shane Heldsinger studied at the Cordon Bleu Chefs School of South Africa and had the privilege of cooking for President Nelson Mandela on his 90th birthday celebrations. He is currently Group Executive Chef for Gastronomie, a chain of restaurants in South Africa that include Carbon Bistro, Capital P and Kingelato. Trained in Classical French cuisine, Shane has personalised a culinary style that fuses modern contemporary cuisine with a strong Asian influence.
