David Ritchie drifted into journalism during the 1960s, when for two years he edited the student newspaper at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand where he was studying to be a secondary school teacher. Subsequently, while turning his attention to economics and accounting, he was offered jobs on a number of business and agricultural publications. David has lived in Surrey, England, since 1971, making a meagre living editing an assortment of trade and professional publications until his retirement in 2016. Since then he has turned his attention to investigating political machinations and the structure of government and regulatory bodies in the UK, along with various other aspects of life in general. David has also written a book on Christianity – how it is and how it was meant to be, which is available on Amazon Kindle under the title Simply Wonderful, Wonderfully Simple
