Mary Pargeter

Poet Mary Pargeter spent her childhood running free in the Hampshire countryside until the family moved to urban Surrey – an unwelcome shock! A self confessed child of the 1960s, at the age of 16 she bought her first motorbike, lived in a Cornish layby during the Summer of Love followed by four carefree years at art school. After becoming an air stewardess, she gained a private pilot’s license. Mary has worked in graphic design for 30 years and has never married.
