Patricia Jones was the author of five full-length plays, a pantomime, short stories and sketches. At the time of her death she was editing the sequel to her debut novel, Threads of Life. Patricia was a keen reader who enjoyed writing while listening to the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley or catching up on the latest episodes of the BBC Radio series The Archers. She lived in Surrey and was married with four grown up children and three grandchildren. When not writing she enjoyed the theatre, attending art history lectures, being with friends and family, helping out backstage with a small theatrical company and organising an annual charity Christmas concert.
