Rob Douglas is a former Royal Dutch Shell executive who has used his considerable business experience in the public and voluntary sectors in senior executive relationship development and coaching. Born in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in north east England, Rob was educated at Fettes College Edinburgh and Churchill College Cambridge. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and in 2005 was made a CBE (Commander of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2005 Queen’s Birthday Honours List. Rob has served as High Sheriff of the County of Surrey and since 2012 Deputy Lieutenant for Surrey. Married with two sons, Rob is also a Master Reiki Practitioner and Teacher. Redemption, his first novel, was published in 2019.
