Icon books is a London based independent publisher that specialises in intelligent, quality non-fiction for a general audience. In 2017 Icon was shortlisted for the Independent Trade Publisher of the Year at the IPG Independent Publishing Awards. The company publishes its books in all English-speaking markets, and many non-English speaking ones too. It is part of the Independent Alliance Sales grouping in the UK and other markets with its books sold to leading distributors around the world including Allen & Unwin in Australasia.

Juliette Foster is a journalist and co-founder of Read2Write. She wrote and illustrated her first novel when she was nine and although she doesn’t remember much about the story, the improbability of the plot was enough to make anyone who read it burst out laughing. Juliette’s ambition is to read every single book in her massive collection before her one hundredth birthday.
