The Volsparr ferry makes routine crossings to a mining community in the Baltic. Families go over to visit their loved ones, who work through the Christmas season to meet a deadline that determines the company’s survival. What the passengers don’t know is that the ship also carries a secret cargo of psychotic criminals, all of whom have committed horrific crimes. Awaiting them at the journey’s end are prisons where incarceration is cheap, human rights non-existent, and where no-one is around to question or even care about their fate. For Tanya Rhone, the voyage is special as she’ll spend the Christmas holiday with her fiance. However, fortunes are at stake on the Volsparr and life is the cheapest commodity of all. For Tanya that means facing a personal battle of epic proportions to not only save her life but to prevent her death becoming a global event.
