Stranger

On the run from a deadly invisible force, humanity is pouring northwards and crossing over the Mexican border. A once mighty nation has fallen leaving Sullivan town as one of the last enclaves of civilisation. Greg Valdiva, a stranger to the community, has lost his home, his mother and sister, both of whom died on the journey to the town. But beyond Sullivan’s ramparts humanity is undergoing a strange, terrifying transformation. In response, the town isolates itself from infection, allowing no one to go in or out under threat of death. When Greg helps some hungry refugees, he is forced to leave and afterwards joins forces with a band of teenagers. He discovers that Earth has been overwhelmed by a new species of human beings, leaving him and his friends with no option but to flee for their lives. During this endless struggle for survival, Greg learns about the twenty-first century curse that has befallen humanity. It is the start of a war like no other as humankind hurtles towards the edge of total extinction. Is it the beginning of the end….or is there a saviour in sight?
