Lois Collins graduated with a Fine Art degree, studied screen-printing and photography and has painted decorative tiles. Since then, for the past 17 years, she has suffered with a condition called Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). Writing poems and children’s books, and illustrating them, are her way of escaping to a wonderful world of magic, colour and adventure. Recently Lois had two poems published in Kindred Spirit magazine. Crumbdog is the first book in a series about a unique little girl and her wise, cheeky best friend made of crumbs. Like Lula, Lois will never stop hoping and dreaming and bringing stories of wonder and mischief to the young or just young at heart.
