Break The Fall

Seventeen-year-old Audrey Lee is an elite gymnast with a big dream: to win an Olympic gold medal. Nothing, not even the aches and spasms from the agonising pain in her back, can stand between her and the dream of a gold medal around her neck. But the road to the top is sometimes littered with disappointment. Audrey’s ambition can’t protect her from the sight of her coach being led away in handcuffs after another gymnast makes accusations of sexual abuse. The team goes into meltdown while disbelief and confusion weigh down the atmosphere. As the Olympics get closer, Audrey can only hope that her self-belief and what’s left of her dream will lead her to gold.
