Clytemnestra

Clytemnestra is a woman on a mission! The daughter of a Spartan king, she was raised to be strong and it’s that tough, unyielding quality which catches the eye of the tyrant Agamemnon who is determined to have her. With the help of her father, Agamemnon murders her first husband and baby son and then forces her to marry him, unwittingly sowing the seeds of his fate. Clytemnestra quietly watches as he wages war on a foreign shore, while comforting herself with some violent thoughts of her own. There will never be forgiveness because there can only be retribution. Clytemnestra plots vengeance. She plays a long game where the hands of the gods are eventually forced because Clytemnestra has learned that if power isn’t given, the only option is to seize it for yourself!
