OH CRUMBS! CRUMBDOG
I think that Crumbdog is definitely a lovable book. I felt that the drawings could’ve been done a little better, but the story is good. The concept of the story is great especially with little ones. The fact that Lula never stopped believing that if you wished hard enough good things will come your way.
I like how Lois Collins added a ‘bad guy’ as it makes the story more lively. I like how the crumb from the biscuits she nibbles on links into the Crumbdog. To improve this book, I believe that Lois Collins could have made the drawings better and to make the names of the new animals they meet easier to pronounce as younger children would find it a bit hard.
I recommend this book to children from ages 3 (if read to them) to 8

CRUMBDOG HEAVEN
This book was great. It was very mythical and showed me that you can imagine all sorts of amazing things when you put your mind to it. This book taught me that friendship is important and it reminded me of the friendship I have with my dogs. I thought that the idea of of a crumb dog was weird but then I actually believed it was actually a dog. The adventure they went on was AMAZING: it has wonderful, colourful pictures. I enjoyed the other characters (Chipcat, Marmalademonkey)!!! I would give this book four stars.
