Death of Jezebel

At Elysia Hall, a grand exhibition space in post-war London, a cast has been assembled for a Medieval themed pageant show. The event has all the trappings to be expected for such a grand occasion including knights in coloured armour, real horses, and a damsel in a rickety high tower. Members of the troupe faced death threats before the show begins, but the unthinkable happens when an unknown assailant throws the leading lady from the tower before the eyes of the audience and with all backstage doors also under observation. A seemingly impossible case will draw on the resources of Inspector Cockrill who begrudgingly joins forces with fresh-faced Inspector Charlesworth. Can they find a killer whose been hiding in plain sight?
