Quinn Anderson

Hotline (Murmur, Inc. Book 1)

Zack never intended to become a phone sex operator, it just happened. It helps that he is open-minded and good at improvising. It’s fine, it pays the bills, and his one rule is: never fall for a client. Until a man named “John” starts calling, and suddenly, Zach can’t think of anything other than the stranger’s voice. John is everything Zach isn’t: rich, educated, in total control of his life. When a twist of fate brings them face-to-face, they have to finally deal with their attraction. A sex worker and a trust fund brat . . . it’s like Romeo and Juliet, but on the phone, and with more sex jokes.

“Such an unusual queer romantic story, which is sexy and a page turner. I was blown away by it! You’ll not only love it, but you’ll laugh out loud a lot.”

SEXY + FUNNY + ROMANTIC

Rarely do I get this rare combination of sexy, romantic, and funny in the same book. This one pulled it off.

The premise is hilarious – a man works as a sex phone operator and meets another man, and they form a connection. The story goes from there. There are ups and downs, I loved the characters, they were so real and funny. Overall, a breath of fresh air and an easy-to-read book.

Rarely do I remember books after a long time after I’ve read them, but this one stuck with me.
