Hotline (Murmur, Inc. Book 1)

Zach never intended to become a phone sex operator. It just happened. It helps that he is open-minded and good at improvising. The work is fine because it pays the bills and there’s no chance of ever breaking the one golden rule: never fall for a client! The vow holds good until the day a man named John starts calling and suddenly Zach can’t think of anything other than the stranger’s voice. John is everything Zach isn’t: he’s rich, educated, and in total control of his life. When a twist of fate brings them face-to-face, they have to finally deal with their attraction. A sex worker and a trust fund brat . . .it’s like Romeo and Juliet but on the phone, and with more sex jokes!

“Such an unusual queer romantic story, which is sexy and a page turner. I was blown away by it! You’ll not only love it, but you’ll laugh out loud a lot.”

SEXY + FUNNY + ROMANTIC

Rarely do I get this unique combination of sexy, romantic, and funny in the same book. This one pulled it off.

The premise is hilarious – a man works as a sex phone operator and meets another man, and they form a connection. The story goes from there. There are ups and downs, I loved the characters, they were so real and funny. Overall, a breath of fresh air and an easy-to-read book.

It’s not often I can remember a book a long time after reading it, but this one has genuinely stuck with me.
