Now, he’s stuck with some kid named Ethan, who doesn’t like to play, who drags him to boarding school, then college. As the animosity grows, their bond weakens. SOULMATES FROM CHILDHOOD

I am a sucker for two things: Marina Vivancos’ stories and soulmate stories. This takes the cake.

We follow Matty and Ethan, who imprint on each other when they are very young, and then they have to spend their lives together, even though they don’t like each other. The more they pull away, the more difficult it becomes. Eventually, something has to give. Maybe they have to give it a chance?

I love this adorable shifter romance! I love the soulmates from childhood trope and I love fated mates, and this is just such a lovely short story in that vein. The author of this book has also written several others, who are just as good, if not better. She’s a master of the emotionally-retching story.

Highly recommend this author, and this lovely story.
