SurReality

When an  urban legend comes to life it’s up to Tony Cork and Benny Marks, hosts of a supernatural television show, to follow the clues that will lead to the truth. As the couple investigate the urban legend for their 2015 Christmas Special, they find themselves torn apart by tragedy. Three murders over three days, the same time every year. These were the final days of the paranormal investigative show, SurReality. This mystery novella is laced with plenty of suspense and is told through a series of newspaper clippings and blog posts written by Tony and Benny’s fans. The story of an urban legend and two supernatural tv show hosts told through blog posts and newspaper articles. A fascinating mystery.

THE FEAR FACTOR

This is a story about urban an legend, the hosts of a supernatural TV show, and the tragedy that befalls them. It will hold you in suspense the whole time as you try to figure out the mystery…although you’ll only know the answer at the end.

The fascinating thing about this story is that it’s told completely through blog posts and newspaper articles, meaning we get all the information indirectly, which intensifies the mystery we’re trying to solve the whole time.

How do these people die? Why do they die the same time every year? Who is Jackie Taylor?

This whole thing is both creepy and fascinating. If you’re looking for a short, interesting mystery with a supernatural twist to sink your teeth into, I cannot recommend this book enough. It goes very fast and doesn’t let you go the whole time.

P.S. Bonus points for the LGBT element, even though the focus is not on it.
