The Black Spectacles

A box of poisoned chocolates has a haunting impact on a group of friends and relatives gathered in the orchards of “peach-fancier” Marcus Chesney. Chesney stages an elaborate memory game to prove a point about how the sweets could have been poisoned under the nose of the shopkeeper who sold them. But the bigger objective is to find out if his guests can see beyond their “black spectacles”; in other words, can they see the truth without making assumptions as witnesses? Events take a bizarre turn when during the test, which is being filmed, Chesney is murdered by his accomplice, dressed head to toe in an “invisible man” disguise. Only the keen wits and quick thinking of Doctor Gideon Fell can crack open this bizarre and brazen murder committed in full view of an audience!
