Liv Thomas is a librarian who dreams of writing a romantic novel. Unfortunately she’s finding it a struggle to create a passionate, handsome, dashing hero as there’s nobody in her life on which to base him. Liv thinks she’s landed on her feet when her brother invites his best friend Aiden to stay in their shared flat for a few weeks. Aiden ticks all the right boxes for a romantic hero: he’s gorgeous, has a sexy accent, and reminds her of Mr Darcy, her all time favourite romantic literary character. Alas, that’s where the similarities end because Aiden is also extremely irritating with a knack for getting under Liv’s skin! Despite this she finds herself unexpectedly inspired and it isn’t long before the leading man in her novel takes on a striking resemblance to Aiden. She’d never live it down if he found out since Aiden can only ever be Liv’s love interest in the pages of her novel rather than in real life….Hmmm!!!!
