BLAST FROM THE PAST

This is a short horror story about the past, the present and monsters and secrets.

Astrid Fletcher is tormented by what happened to her fifteen years ago, when two children went to play in the forest and only one came back – Astrid. When another child goes missing, Astrid must face down her demons and the awful memories, while help in the search to find the missing child. But facing up to the past is no walk in the park, especially in Astrid’s case. Every step of this book will make you shudder.

It’s a spine-tingling story with a unique spin. As I was reading it, I noticed that I didn’t want to put it down and I got through it in one sitting. The twist at the end surprised me, and overall, I was very happy to have read it. This is definitely one of the most horrifying things I have read of late.
