The Small Widow

When Harold dies his widow Julia is left to manage her grief and the challenge of constructing a new life. There are so many uncertainties to navigate without the luxury of a road map for guidance: how can she build new relationships with her friends? What does she now owe to her children, or they to her? Julia is on a journey to learn what it is to be independent. That means redefining who she is since she is no longer a wife, and is now the mother to adult children who don’t need her. Can Julia find freedom or a new identity that has never existed in her life before?
