Blue Guides, owned by Somerset Publishing, are authoritative travel books with content that covers art, history, architecture, and (where relevant) archaeology. Details of recommended restaurants and hotels are also generally included. The very first Blue Guide, London and its Environs, was published in 1918 by the Scottish brothers James and Findlay Muirhead.  Blue Guides authors and contributors are experts in their specific fields, often residents of the places described, with the goal of making their knowledge accessible to every traveller.

Juliette Foster is a journalist and co-founder of Read2Write. She wrote and illustrated her first novel when she was nine and although she doesn’t remember much about the story, the improbability of the plot was enough to make anyone who read it burst out laughing. Juliette’s ambition is to read every single book in her massive collection before her one hundredth birthday.
