Founded by Christopher MacLehose, the company publishes the very best literature (some of it prize winning) from around the world, mainly in translation albeit with a few outstanding exceptions as English language originals. Since publishing its first book in 2008 by Swedish author Stieg Larsson, MacLehose Press has grown its list of writers to include authors from almost every continent along with some of the best translators in the industry.

Juliette Foster is a journalist and co-founder of Read2Write. She wrote and illustrated her first novel when she was nine and although she doesn’t remember much about the story, the improbability of the plot was enough to make anyone who read it burst out laughing. Juliette’s ambition is to read every single book in her massive collection before her one hundredth birthday.
