London based independent publishing house Robert Hale was founded in 1936, catering to a wide range of literary interests in fiction and non-fiction with particular strengths in general hardback fiction, MBS, and practical reference. The company’s backlist was acquired from Crowood Press in 2019 by the independent publisher Joffe Books.

Juliette Foster is a journalist and co-founder of Read2Write. She wrote and illustrated her first novel when she was nine and although she doesn’t remember much about the story, the improbability of the plot was enough to make anyone who read it burst out laughing.
