Suddenly at His Residence: A Mystery in Kent

The boisterous grandchildren of Sir Richard March descend on his Kentish home, Swanswater Manor, for a family gathering and the finalising of his will. March loathes the behaviour and choices of his heirs and is set to disinherit the lot of them. He heads out to the lodge to make the necessary arrangements, but by the morning March is found dead with a dose of strychnine in his blood. Crime scene evidence suggests that nobody could have entered the lodge to carry out the murder and it’s left to Inspector Cockrill – the so-called “Terror of Kent” – to solve the case before another mysterious death occurs at Swanswater.
